It\u2019s based in Milan, Italy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fimm is the department that designs the <strong>cleaning products and detergents<\/strong> used for our cleaning solutions. Its <strong>research laboratory <\/strong>is based in the Paris region at Savigny-sur-Orge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-2\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n<div id=\"attachment_20084\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" style=\"width: 402px\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20084 lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fisa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/massimo-marolda-director-fisalabs.jpg\" alt=\"Massimo Marolda - Fisalabs Director\" width=\"402\" height=\"620\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fisa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/massimo-marolda-director-fisalabs.jpg 402w, https:\/\/www.fisa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/massimo-marolda-director-fisalabs-195x300.jpg 195w, https:\/\/www.fisa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/massimo-marolda-director-fisalabs-58x90.jpg 58w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 402px) 100vw, 402px\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Massimo Marolda &#8211; Fisalabs Director<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2><strong>What is the role of FISALABS in the FISA group?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>FISALABS designed the tools, plugins, user interfaces and electronic circuits used in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fisa.com\/pl\/maszyny-roboty\/\">our machines<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the same site as our manufacturing plant, the department currently has 4\u00a0full-time engineers: electronics and computer engineers, specialists in applied industry.<\/p>\n<p>When FISALABS was created, our aim was to guarantee the department a degree of independence as we didn\u2019t think that financial benefits would be the most important criteria in deciding what research to conduct.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why <strong>FISALABS has its own budget<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How do you decide the research conducted in this department?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We can identify 2 main types of research:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>technical projects<\/li>\n<li>improvements and long-term projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In both cases, we study every detail of the information provided by the quality department and we\u2019re in continuous contact with our sales branches: <strong>our sales teams know exactly what our customers need<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>10% of the FISA Group\u2019s sales revenue is allocated to Innovation and Research.
