Fisa has over 25 years of experience of industrial cleaning. To exceed the very high standard of quality required by the optical industry, Fisa has developed solutions for all aspects of your process:

application specific tooling, designed to optimise handling, processing and control

application specific chemicals, designed to remove the targeted contaminants without damaging the surface of the substrates

careful selection, for each case, of the most suitable type of ultrasounds to be used (magnetostrictive, piezoelectric, single or multiple frequencies, ranging from 20 kHz to 95 kHz)

tap water, reverse osmosis and de-ionised water systems designed to obtain the desired quality with the lowest possible running costs

effluent treatment that meets or exceeds local environmental requirements

atmosphere control including cleanliness, temperature and humidity within specifically designed mini-environments.

High Performance Treatment for Optical Laboratories and Optical Industry

Fisa produces a complete range of equipment, processing chemicals and specific tools for almost all the production requirements of transparent substrates, both at mass production level and prescription lab level.

Fisa deals with a wide range of transparent substrates from automotive parts such as headlamps, reflectors, side windows and dashboards, to optical parts such as ophthalmic lenses, to safety devices such as goggles, screens, visors etc. We can handle parts made from glass, PC, PVC, PMMA, CR 39, Mid-Index, High-Index hard resins.

Research and New Technology

As a consequence of the wide range of processes involved, Fisa has developed a unique R & D structure, along with our demonstration labs in France, that enable us to carry out a real-size evaluation of the parameters of any potential application that you may have, thus ensuring that you receive a fully documented process long before your production line has even been ordered.

As a result of increasing demand from our customers for improved cleaning capacity, Fisa has studied the ultrasonic cleaning process further and developed a range of multifrequency ultrasonic generators and transducers. Consequently, Fisa has developed in-depth understanding of the mechanism of the interaction between the contaminants to be eliminated, the type of detergents and the type of ultrasounds to be used. This understanding is consolidated in the design of the CS, CC and CV range of machines.
