Machine - Computer

When using Fisa Logger, a copy of each instruction executed by the Fisa Programming Unit is sent to the computer having the Fisa Logger Licence. The instructions are interpreted by Fisa Project so that baskets can be moved and saved. Alarms can be generated and Maintenance followed. Interventions on the machine can be registered.

The role of Fisa Logger is just of observation, not control of the machine.

This graph shows how instructions arriving on the computer serial ports are intercepted. Instructions can arrive from the machine or the Fisa Project simulator. The interpreter does not know from where an instruction arrives.

The interpreter is transparent, meaning that if a program works in simulation it will work also on the machine.
